Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry director-general of enforcement Mohd Roslan Mahayudin recently branded the National Consumer Complaints Centre as an "empty vessel" for making a lot of noise over the scratch-and-win scam and told the centre to bring the matter up the ministry instead. NCCC director Darshan Singh, however, insisted that it is their duty to make noise for the benefit of consumers.
